Mountain State Centers for Independent Living and The Foundation for Independent Living are recruiting a full-time Employment Training Specialist for the Huntington office. This position will be responsible for assisting people with disabilities in our employment program by teaching life skills and job readiness soft skills, work site supports, and job retention supports. Position requires flexible hours that may include nights and weekends

Community Resource & Employment Specialist – Beckley, WV

Mountain State Centers for Independent Living is looking for a qualified person to serve as a Community Resource and Employment Specialist to assist people with disabilities to find and maintain employment by creating relationships with employers and WV Division of Rehabilitation counselors, assist with finding accessible housing, transitioning from nursing facility to community based living, or transitioning students from high school to post secondary education or to assist them in finding employment. The perfect candidate would be able to navigate community resources with persons with disabilities to assist them in living as independently as they choose.
