Being a volunteer at Mountain State Centers for Independent Living (MTSTCIL) can be a very rewarding experience. As a volunteer you can help promote the interdependence, productivity and quality of life of persons with disabilities, in addition to making some great friends. By sharing your talents, experience and enthusiasm you can motivate our consumers to learn new activities, try new experiences and strive to reach a higher level of independence and quality of life.

If you would like to meet new people, improve your job skills, and play an important role in your community, contact the Mountain State Centers for Independent Living nearest you. Our volunteer coordinator will set up a time to introduce you to the center, take you on a tour, and tell you more about our services. He or she will also take the opportunity to learn about your talents, skills, and interests. Together, you will develop a schedule based on your interests and availability. You will also receive a monthly calendar of events and training times.
