There are three Centers for Independent Living (CIL) in West Virginia offering the four core services of a CIL including:

- Individual and Systems Advocacy: through training and leadership development, MTSTCIL can assist you in learning how to become a self-advocate.
- Independent Living Skills Development: through training, resources, and information on adaptive equipment, MTSTCIL can help you take control of your life.
- Information and Referral: through a wide range of network of resources, MTSTCIL offers individuals information on a wide range of disability-related topics.
- Peer Support: volunteer peer mentors help promote personal growth by sharing their own experiences and sharing their own coping techniques.
- Personal Assistance Services: assessments, personal assistance management training and referrals.
- Supported Employment: for people with disabilities who need support on the job.
- Community Integration Program: provide leadership training opportunities for persons with developmental disabilities and family members.
- Housing Referral and Training: MTSTCIL can assist you in finding housing by providing you with resources to contact, advocacy training and skills development.
- Transportation: MTSTCIL has wheelchair accessible vans in order to provide transportation to consumers participating in activities at the center.
