Van Lift for Mr. H

van liftMr. H is a 62 year old male who contacted our Center and requested a lift for his van. Due to a severe electrical shock, he had limited use of his limbs and was unable to access the driver's seat of his vehicle. An assessment was scheduled and completed by Van Lift's Unlimited to determine the exact equipment Mr. H would need.

Staff coordinated scheduling the van for modifications. Once the modifications were completed, staff met with Mr. H and Van Lift's owner to make sure the equipment was usable. Mr. H is now able to go to doctor's appointment, shopping and conduct routine community activities independently.

Total cost of this project was $5,545.
