Becky Cook - Community Resource Advocate, Beckley Office

Becky is a Community Resource Advocate in the Beckley office and is very passionate about helping people with disabilities be independent in their homes and communities.

Becky works with the CLSP program in Fayette, Summers, Monroe, Mercer, McDowell, Wyoming. Becky leads Kids ADA in the Beckley area and assists people with disabilities in finding accessible and affordable housing.

Becky particularly enjoys the Center's Pay It Forward Events including food drives, making cards and cookies for veterans and other outreach program events.

Becky is the mother of a child with a learning disability and says, "with some extra help and patience we are working through the middle school years".

As a member of the Fairshake Legislative Network, Becky attends the Fairshake meetings with consumers from Mountain State.

Becky holds the position of Commissioner for the City of Beckley Human Rights Commission.
