Peggy Lewis

1929-2010

Peggy Lewis, 80, a long time resident of Huntington, WV, died Thursday, November 25, 2010. Peggy received her master's degree from Marshall University and was a retired substance abuse counselor.

Peggy and her constant companion and friend, Dr. Violette Eash, were active board members at Mountain State Centers for Independent Living for many years. Most recently Peggy served on the board of the Foundation for Independent Living, the funding arm for Mountain State Centers for Independent Living.

Peggy, at the age of 75, participated in the Walk for Independence 2005.

Peggy was a long time supporter and good friend of Mountain State Centers for Independent Living and will be missed.
