The Mission of Mountain State Centers for Independent Living is to improve the lives of people with disabilities. Mountain State Centers for Independent is a community-based organization providing advocacy, networking, and resources to people with disabilities and their families.
Advocacy is the core of our organization. We believe that by focusing on advocacy and teaching people with disabilities self-advocacy skills, our vision and mission can be achieved. Mountain State Centers for Independent Living staff provide peer support and offer guidance and encouragement to individuals in making appropriate decisions regarding their day-to-day lives.
We are currently searching for an experienced Administrative Assistant to work full time onsite at our Beckley office. Successful candidates will have excellent customer service skills and must be outcome-oriented. The ability to work in a fast paced, ever-changing environment with strong attention to detail and great organizational skills is essential. You will be fully engaged and busy from the first day and we guarantee there will never be a dull moment. People with disabilities are encouraged to apply.
